The Jacksonville Icemen have made two more roster moves in anticipation of the upcoming 2018-19 ECHL season.
The team re-signed forward Everett Clark and signed international forward Pier-Olivier Grandmaison, bringing the team to a total of ten forwards.
The 22-year-old Clark rejoins the Icemen after playing 55 games for the team last year.
Grandmaison, 24, comes to the Icemen to make his professional debut in the United States. He previously played in France and Australia and was recently named MVP of the Australian Ice Hockey League for his play last season.
Here’s how the roster is shaping out thus far:
- Forwards: Cameron Critchlow, Cody Fowlie, Eli Lichtenwald, Colton Veloso, Jake Randolph, Wacey Rabbit, Garet Hunt, Josh Erickson, Everett Clark, and Pier-Olivier Grandmaison
- Defensemen: Dajon Mingo and Trey Phillips
- Goalies: none
In addition to these players, the team has extended qualifying offers to forwards Tyler Coulter, Cristiano DiGiacinto, Tyson Fawcett, and Alexandre Goulet, defenseman Jack Glover, and goalie Austin Lotz.
The team still has a few roster spots to fill prior to the beginning of the season. And with opening night just over three weeks away, those moves are likely to come very quickly.
The Icemen begin their season on October 13 at 7:00 PM at Veterans Memorial Arena.
