Rockler Woodworking coming to Town Center
Rockler Woodworking and Hardware will soon be making its debut in Jacksonville.
The Minnesota-based woodworking supply store received a permit for build-out at 4643 River City Dr. within St. Johns Town Center. It will occupy a unit originally used by Pier One Imports; it was previously home to Furniture Source as well before it moved to The Avenues.
The new location, its first in North Florida, is expected to open in August.
UF Health North received a permit for the construction of a six-story, 120-bed tower as part of the third phase of its existing campus on Max Leggett Pkwy. near River City Marketplace. The project’s cost is listed at $148 million.
pOpshelf submitted plans for a new location at 871 Blanding Blvd.
Gate Express Carwash submitted plans for a new automated carwash facility behind an existing Gate gas station and convenience store near St. Johns Town Center on Town Center Pkwy.
Conn’s HomePlus received a permit for build-out at 2282 Lane Ave.
Olea @ E-Town received several permits related to the construction of a multi-building multifamily apartment complex at 11385 Exchange St. within E-Town.

Flying Fish Taphouse received a permit for renovations to a former steakhouse building at 1341 Airport Rd.
Dunkin’ received a permit for renovations to its existing location at 1084 Airport Rd.
Tienda Latina received a permit for build-out at 6630 Beach Blvd.
Dollar General received a permit for the construction of a new retail store at 1050 8th St. E.
