Rockler Woodworking coming to Town Center

Rockler Woodworking and Hardware will soon be making its debut in Jacksonville.

The Minnesota-based woodworking supply store received a permit for build-out at 4643 River City Dr. within St. Johns Town Center. It will occupy a unit originally used by Pier One Imports; it was previously home to Furniture Source as well before it moved to The Avenues.

The new location, its first in North Florida, is expected to open in August.

Noted projects

UF Health North received a permit for the construction of a six-story, 120-bed tower as part of the third phase of its existing campus on Max Leggett Pkwy. near River City Marketplace. The project’s cost is listed at $148 million.

pOpshelf submitted plans for a new location at 871 Blanding Blvd.

Dunkin’ received a permit for renovations to its existing location at 1084 Airport Rd.

Tienda Latina received a permit for build-out at 6630 Beach Blvd.

Dollar General received a permit for the construction of a new retail store at 1050 8th St. E.
