The Dolly Llama coming to Ponte Vedra Beach
A new Los Angeles-based waffle and ice cream concept is coming to Ponte Vedra.
The Dolly Llama plans to expand into the local market next month with a location at 830 A1A North within Tournament Plaza. The concept focuses on hand-crafted waffles and artisanal ice cream with authentic European flavors and techniques.
The new Ponte Vedra location is part of an aggressive expansion plan that will add 40 locations nationwide for the brand, which currently operates in L.A. and Dallas, TX.
Lowe’s to anchor Beachwalk plaza
A newly-announced commercial center within Beachwalk in St. Johns is expected to bring Lowe’s and Wawa to CR-210.
Plans for Plaza at Beachwalk show a Lowe’s home improvement store anchoring a commercial development that also includes Wawa, an assisted living facility, six acres of property designated for medical office space, and just over six acres of future retail space.
Corner Lot multifamily complex approved
City council voted to approve rezoning to facilitate a new eight-building, 320-unit multifamily apartment community at 12921 Duval Rd. – as well as a parcel designated for future commercial development. The $73 million project, helmed by Corner Lot Development, will be located near the airport and Amazon’s distribution center. It is expected to be completed in 2024.
