When sisters and Jacksonville natives Hasley, Hope, and Halle Pitman were brought together under one roof by COVID-19-related school closures in the spring, they started passing the time by watching videos on TikTok.

A few months later, they now have a TikTok following of their own – over 1.3 million followers, to be specific.

Hasley, Hope, and Halle – a 22-year-old recent University of Florida graduate, a 17-year-old Bishop Kenny senior, and a 15-year-old Douglas Anderson sophomore, respectively – gained traction on the popular social media platform after just a few of their videos, which feature the sisters dancing, lip-syncing, acting, and highlighting top trends.

“Our mom mentioned the idea of us all making [videos] together, and it just went from there!“ says Hasley Pitman.

The Pitman sisters began posting videos routinely back in April and have already gained well over a million followers on TikTok, with their videos amassing over 30 million likes. They’ve since started posting on Instagram and YouTube, gaining another 45,000 followers between the two platforms.

They even recently signed with talent agency WME, taking multiple trips out to Los Angeles to collaborate with other creators. But while their success may soon take them out west, they have fond memories of growing up in Jax.

“Jacksonville is our home,” says Hasley. “It’s where our father grew up with his whole family and where our mother moved in high school.” The sisters grew up enjoying fishing, tubing, and waterskiing on the St. Johns River as well as going to Jaguars and Jumbo Shrimp games.

Moving forward, the sisters plan to keep working on building relationships and brand connections along with their growing social media following.

“At this point, we hope to just keep having fun with it and see where it takes us,” says Hasley. “It has been an unexpected, wild ride!”
