Want to enjoy some laughs on a Sunday night while also supporting the fight to end the stigma surrounding mental health issues?
Stronger Than Stigma, a nonprofit dedicated to mental health advocacy, will be partnering with Nighthawks for “Solid* Laugh Advice”, a night of comedy featuring comedians giving humorous life advice.
The show, which was devised by local comedian Nick Davis, will feature performances by Chris Buck, Trevor Johnson, Jenny Lee McGalliard, Spencer Ruizzo, Mike Atcherson, Dillon Jarboe, Herman Nazworth and Alex Gasparini. There will also be a musical interlude from Robert Alan Hall. It’ll all be hosted by Davis himself.
The event will be going on all night starting at 7:00 on Sunday, August 6 at Nighthawks at 2952 Roosevelt Blvd.
Stronger Than Stigma was founded by Jacksonville resident Gabrielle Magid and focuses on advocating for mental health related issues, with special focus on breaking down stereotypes and stigmas that have become attached to the mental health field.
