Got the itch to play some poker?
Jacksonville Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section will be putting on a bounty-style charity poker tournament on Thursday, January 12. The tournament will take place at bestbet on Monument Rd. near Regency Square Mall. Proceeds from the event will go toward Yoga 4 Change – specifically, it will help with funding their youth and veteran programs.
The event will kick off at 5:30 PM with a social hour where attendees can socialize with members of the Jacksonville community, take lessons from experienced poker players, and enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The tournament itself will begin at 6:30.
The tournament is open to the public. Early-bird player registration is priced at $50, which includes buy-in, food, and drinks. The spectator registration fee of $40 includes food and drinks.
For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit the tournament’s Eventbrite page.
