Popular ramen-centric eatery Crane Ramen is celebrating its first full year in the Jacksonville community with specials and giveaways.
On March 7 and 8, the “craft ramen” restaurant will be offering new lunch, dinner, and drink specials in honor of their one-year anniversary celebration. Lunch and dinner specials include Bone Marrow Shoyu with Rosemary Oil and Bok Choy, pictured above, available for $13.50, as well as General Tso’s Fried Gyoza for just $6.95.
Drink specials include Umami Fashion ($10), made with shiitake-infused Toki, Turbo, sesame oil, and Shoyu Tare, as well as Central Time ($9), made with Venture vodka, cherry liqueur, ginger syrup, and lime. Central Time was one of the restaurant’s biggest hits from its grand opening last year.
And perhaps the most intriguing special of all is the One-Year Barrel-Aged Boulevardier Cocktail ($11). Curated by beverage manager Austin Reinhard, the drink is a mix of aged Toki Japanese Whiskey, Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, Campari, and Frenet Branca. Only 40 of these limited-edition cocktails will be available.
There will also be special giveaways on March 7 only.
“We are so grateful to the Jacksonville community for their support and patronage during our first year,” says Frederick Brown, Crane Ramen’s owner. “We invite everyone to join the festivities with delicious lunch, dinner and cocktail specials, as well as giveaways. There is so much more to our restaurant than just ramen, and we look forward to expanding our offerings with new services and events in the months ahead.”
Crane Ramen opened last year in a long-vacant location at 1029 Park Street. The Five Points spot was Crane Ramen’s second location – its original location opened in 2014 in Gainesville.
