Wildlight, Nassau County’s master-planned town development, continues to expand its commercial district.
Developers Skinner Bros. Realty and The Silverfield Group recently broke ground on The Offices at Village Center, a six-building, 2.35-acre office complex at 57 Homegrown Way within the Wildlight commercial district. It will offer 27,000 square feet of office space in total, with units ranging from 1,500 to 5,275 square feet in size.
Two buildings and half of another are already under contract at the complex.
“The office buildings offer a prime opportunity to professional service businesses, who will benefit from direct access to I-95, A1A, and more than 9,000 homeowners within a 3-mile radius,” said Chet Skinner, vice president of Skinner Bros. Realty. “The attractiveness of this location is clear as we’ve already sold 40% of the available office space before breaking ground.”
“The office buildings will match the surrounding Florida Lowcountry architecture and offer great visibility within Wildlight,” added Ray Adams, vice president of Silverfield Development Group. “This project offers a rare opportunity to buy professional office space in the Wildlight Village Center.”
The project adds to the growing number of developments within Wildlight’s commercial district – as well as Skinner Bros. Realty’s portfolio within the burgeoning town. The development group has worked on multiple retail buildings within the Village Center.
The complex, which is being built by King South Construction, is expected to open in spring 2022.
