In a week dominated by the return of One Spark, there wasn’t a whole lot announced on the development front.
But of course, even though there’s nothing too exciting, we’re still here to note what we do have for this week’s Building Up Jax.
- The Starbucks location in San Marco Square will undergo a $119,000 renovation, according to city records.
- ALDI announced another new location at the site of a former Golden Corral on Normandy Blvd. The discount grocer opened a location on Southside Blvd last year, and will also have a location at the St. Johns Town Center by 2018.
- River City Science Academy is getting a fourth campus, this one at 10911 Old St. Augustine Rd., via jacksonville.com.
- O’Steen’s Auto Body will open at the site of a long-vacant former Japanese steakhouse at 10055 Atlantic Blvd., according to the Jax Daily Record.
Remember to check back every Saturday for the latest development news from around the city.
