#904WKND is your weekly, curated guide to the most interesting things going on in Jacksonville this weekend.
Here are our picks for the weekend of June 16-18.
CaribFest at the Landing
On Saturday starting at 2:00 PM, the 4th annual CaribFest will take over Jacksonville Landing.
The event is a massive celebration of Caribbean culture, and will include art, food, and live performances. Musical acts include dancehall artists Tanto Metro and Devonte. There’ll also be a keynote address from Keitha Nelson of First Coast News.
Best part? The entire event is free to the public.
Father’s Day Brunch at The Bread & Board
Popular new Riverside eatery The Bread & Board picked a great weekend to begin serving its brunch menu.
The restaurant will launch their brunch offerings this Sunday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If your dad is the type to enjoy brunch – or good breakfast food in general – it’s definitely worth checking out.
In the meantime, you can check out their Facebook page for some previews of the brunch offerings.
Jax Beach Cleanup
Looking to do your part to help Jacksonville go green?
First Coast Surfrider will be hosting a cleanup near the pier at Jacksonville Beach on Saturday morning from 8:00 to 11:00, in honor of International Surfing Day.
While the event is led by surfers, you don’t have to be a surfer to participate. For more information, check out the Facebook event page.
