Jacksonville Fire Museum moving to Bay Street
Jacksonville Fire Museum is on the move.
The museum, currently located at 1406 Gator Bowl Blvd. next to Metropolitan Park, will be relocated to 620 E. Bay St. The new location is a few blocks to the west of the current property, which is likely destined to be redeveloped as part of Shad Khan’s grand plans for a Four Seasons hotel along the river. The museum’s new spot will also place it closer to the future naval museum, as well as MOSH’s future riverfront campus, creating a cluster of cultural attractions along Bay Street.
