1974 SAN MARCO BLVD SEEKING NEW TENANT
Prime Realty is currently seeking a new tenant for the historic building at 1974 San Marco Blvd. Retail and restaurant concepts will be considered to fill the vacancy.
It was most recently occupied briefly by Melo’s Seafood and Steaks and Bohemian Lounge; Melo’s has since been evicted, and Bohemian Lounge is searching for a new location.
One possibility for the building is Flying Iguana, a Latin American restaurant concept from Al’s Pizza owner Al Mansur. Mansur originally wanted to open a Flying Iguana back in 2016 in the location now occupied by Industry West within San Marco Square, but the project ran into parking-related issues and was canceled. With the 1974 San Marco building already zoned for a restaurant, it would have a much easier path to approval.

CubeSmart Self-Storage submitted plans for a new 37,950 square foot storage building directly adjacent to its current location at 8552 Baymeadows Rd. Their current building, which has in the past housed an AMC theater and a Gold’s Gym, would presumably be demolished once the new one is completed.
