Laura Trio project adds residential units
SouthEast Development Group announced this past week that it plans to add a new residential component to its long-awaited Laura Street Trio project.
As part of the revised plans, a new 11-story building will be constructed adjacent to the Florida Life building featuring 166 units of “mixed-income multifamily housing.” The remainder of the project, which entails an upscale Marriott hotel and restaurant among other features, will proceed unchanged.
20% of the residential units added will be reserved as workforce housing.
DDRB will review the modified project, which now has a $165 million price tag, at its meeting next week.
