You Have No Excuse to Drive Drunk on New Year’s Eve Thanks to Farah & Farah

Driving after having too much to drink is never a good idea.

But people do it anyway, especially on New Year’s Eve. Over a hundred people are killed each year in the early morning hours of January 1 as a result of drunk driving accidents.

There’s never an excuse for driving drunk in a world where taxis and ride-share services exist. But for Jaxsons heading out on NYE, Farah & Farah is making the decision even easier.

For the fourth straight year, the local law firm will offer free cab rides and Ubers to anyone in Jacksonville. The offer is available to all residents and visitors and extends out to St. Augustine and the surrounding areas.

The initiative is aimed at cutting down on drunk driving incidents within the First Coast community.

“We’re glad to be offering this to our community for the fourth year in a row”, says Eddie Farah. “Since Jacksonville’s such a large city, it can be cost prohibitive and sometimes dangerous to travel on nights like New Year’s Eve. By offering this service to the community, we can support the energy and excitement, while still helping keep people safe.”

To redeem a free ride, all you have to do is visit https://farahandfarah.com/keep-our-city-safe and register to receive a voucher code. That voucher code is good for a free ride with any Uber driver as well as with Coastal Cab, Checker Cab, and St. Augustine’s Clean Taxi. Given the increased workload for cabs and ride-share drivers, make sure to place your call early to avoid a lengthy wait.

So if you’re planning on going out for New Year’s Eve, by all means, have a blast! But be responsible about how you’ll be getting back home. In Jacksonville, there’s truly no excuse to drive home drunk on NYE.
