VAGABOND COFFEE OPENS DOWNTOWN SHOP

Vagabond Coffee celebrated the grand opening of its new downtown Jax quick-service shop at 223 N. Hogan St. during Art Walk this past week.

The new location will be open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM. The local coffee shop, whose flagship location is in Murray Hill, will also be opening a full-service shop in the Barnett Bank building next year once it’s finished being restored.

JTA’S NEW ADMIN BUILDING APPROVED

Jacksonville Transportation Authority received a permit for the construction of its new administrative offices at 74 Johnson St. as part of the Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center project.

Balfour Beatty Construction is the listed contractor.

BREWZ LOOKING TO OPEN IN DAHLIA’S BUILDING

According to Jax Daily Record, Brewz is planning to open a third location at 2695 Post St. in Riverside – currently the home of Dahlia’s Pour House, which would presumably close as a result. The beer bar and shop has a location at the Beaches and in St. Johns County, but this would be its first in Jacksonviille.

APARTMENTS PLANNED AT E-TOWN

Plans were submitted for E-Town Apartments, a six-building, 282-unit apartment complex set to join the future E-Town master-planned community off of 9B.
