The popular gas station and convenience store chain Wawa descended upon the First Coast area beginning in the fall of 2017.
The Philly-based chain generated a level of excitement that is certainly rare for such a business, adding to the options in a market already saturated by the likes of GATE and Daily’s.
Wawa stores are well-known for their excellent service and unique offerings, such as having a surcharge-free ATM in every store.
As a result, their stores have acquired a fanbase that spans all the way along the East Coast. The groundbreaking ceremonies held by the company earlier this year were packed with Jax residents eager to get a sampling of what the chain has to offer.
Given all of the excitement over Wawa coming to town, just about everyone has the same question: is there a Wawa coming to my neighborhood?
To help you start planning your morning route to Wawa, we’ve compiled a list of all of the chain’s current and future Jax locations. We’ll continue to update the list as we find out about more locations – the company is planning to open as many as 40 First Coast stores in the next few years.

Rapid growth in Nassau County and points north, but no Wawa coming there.
When is monument rd.opening?
Like The Northside/Airport area isnt deserving. So many companies SCARED to build over here. Augh, its across to the forbidden side of the River
I completely agree, why won’t build some in the Northside/Airport area? Makes no sense.
What will it take for WaWa to build on the Northside? The airport area should be an excellent location.
Where are our elected officials and why aren’t they advocating/requiring real commerce (jobs) on the Northside? There is more than enough development on the S’side and Town Center area.
So much for “One Jacksonville”!
Will you please look at the intersection of Normandy, New World, and 103rd st close to Cecil field. Seriously you will do well nothing is out there definatlely when it comes to food.
When are they going to start the one in Crystal River Fl.
Anna, that is quite far outside of our range of coverage… you would have to contact Wawa.
Why is the Wawa on Argyle Blvd in Jacksonville Florida closed?
Baymeadows/Baymeadows Way ???
Any idea when the ones in St Augustine will open?
They are planning to build one in Wildlight community in Yulee..Hopefully it is still on track to happen
We would love to see a Wawa a in Chiefland Florida.I think it would be a great location with all the travelers that drive thru the area.
Any idea when the Normandy Blvd/Cassat Ave location will go in, or if it’s still planned? The lot’s been cleared for months but there’s been no activity since then.
