BISHOP GATE APARTMENTS
A previously-announced apartment project in Riverside is getting ready to kick off.
Plans submitted this week for the Bishop Gate Apartments development in Riverside show a two-building apartment complex with a parking garage to be built along the river.
The development will also involve creating a walkway along the St. Johns River behind the buildings, which is eventually planned to become part of a Riverwalk extension from Riverside Arts Market to Memorial Park.
STARBUCKS COMING AT MONUMENT AND MCCORMICK
Plans were submitted this week for a new Starbucks location to be built on McCormick Rd. near its intersection with Monument Rd. – close to a new Wawa that’s also planned for that same corner.
It’ll be 2,500 square feet and will feature a drive-thru.
FIREHOUSE MOVING ACROSS THE STREET ON BAYMEADOWS
Firehouse Subs will join T-Mobile in the new shopping strip being developed on Baymeadows Rd. at the former site of Miami Subs, according to Jax Daily Record.
It’ll be relocating from its longtime spot across the street in the aging Centurion Square strip.
NOTED PROJECTS
- Upcoming Town Center addition Goo Goo Express 3 Minute Car Wash has been purchased and will now be known as Scrubbles 3 Minute Express Wash instead, according to Jax Daily Record.
- Florida Cracker Kitchen is now open at 14329 Beach Blvd.
- Staffing firm Adecco plans to open an office in the building at 8655 Baypine Rd.
