The Jacksonville Icemen remain active in building their roster for the upcoming 2018-19 ECHL season.

Last week, the team announced that they have re-signed forward Josh Erickson and signed rookie defenseman Trey Phillips.

The 25-year-old Erickson played 25 games for the Icemen last season. He also played 14 games for the Knoxville Ice Bears of the SPHL and 5 games for the ECHL’s Kansas City Mavericks last year. He scored 22 points between the three stops, including 11 for the Icemen.

Phillips, also 25, comes to the team as a rookie out of University of Vermont, where he spent four years.

In addition to these signings, the team announced that three of its away games against the Orlando Solar Bears have been rescheduled due to Amway Center being used by the NBA’s Orlando Magic on those nights. The changes are as follows:

  • December 8, 2018 at 7:00 PM rescheduled to April 2, 2019 at 7:00 PM
  • February 7, 2019 at 7:00 PM rescheduled to February 6, 2019 at 7:00 PM
  • April 5, 2019 at 7:00 PM rescheduled to April 7, 2019 at 3:00 PM

Single-game ticket sales open on September 14, and season ticket packages are already available starting at $49.
