iFLY coming to Jax?

Topgolf at the St. Johns Town Center may soon have a high-flying attraction as a neighbor.

iFLY, an indoor skydiving venue, is exploring an expansion into Jacksonville according to Jax Daily Record. Specifically, they’ve been looking into a location at the Town Center right next to Topgolf, which opened last year.

The venue offers a simulated indoor skydiving experience using giant, high-powered fans. The company has three Florida locations, with the closest being in Orlando.

Jones College to shut down

After 99 years in Jacksonville, Jones College will be shutting down by the end of the year.

The move comes after the agency through which the school was accredited lost its national accreditation power. The school’s closure had been anticipated since late last year.
