HOTEL INDIGO PLANS APPROVED
Profit Investment Partners’ plan to turn the Life of the South building at 100 W. Bay St. into an 89-room Hotel Indigo was approved by the Downtown Development Review Board this week.
The project will also include a ground-floor restaurant and a rooftop bar.
JONES BROS FURNITURE REVITALIZATION GAINS APPROVAL
Plans for the redevelopment of the Jones Bros. Furniture, and the building next door to it, were approved by the Downtown Development Review Board this past week.
The approved plans show a mixed-use project at 502 and 520 Hogan St. including multiple restaurants, office space, retail space, and 27 residential apartment units. It also shows rooftop amenities for apartment tenants.
The project’s developer is Ace Jax LLC.
PITA PIT TO CENTURION SQUARE
Pita Pit will open soon in Centurion Square at 8380 Baymeadows Rd.
The center just lost longtime tenant Firehouse Subs, but has also recently added Jax Bread Co. and a new pizza place is also coming soon.

- IHOP received a permit for build-out at the former Bob Evans location at 3250 Hodges Blvd.
- Target received a permit for renovations of its location at 10490 San Jose Blvd. at a cost of $1.7 million.
- Kamiya 86 received a permit for build-out in the former location of Ovinte at 10208 Buckhead Branch Dr. at the Town Center.
