SAN MARCO CROSSING RECEIVES PERMITS

Several permits were issued for San Marco Crossing, a 486-unit apartment development planned for the former Southside Assembly of God property along Kings Ave./Philips Hwy. near the Overland Bridge.

The project is from the same developers behind San Marco Promenade, another apartment complex being built further down Philips Hwy. Both are located along the eastern boundary of the San Marco neighborhood.

The project is estimated to cost $86 million and to be completed in 2021.

DURBIN PARK UPDATES

Another week brings another round of openings and opening dates at The Pavilion at Durbin Park.

This week, Firehouse Subs opened its new “restaurant of the future” prototype store within the center. And Your Pie has also set its opening date: July 19.

AT&T, meanwhile, received a permit for build-out within its future location.

TOWN CENTER UPDATES

Not to be outdone, St. Johns Town Center also has two news items this week – one good, one not so good.

Sur La Table received a permit related to its build-out within the outdoor mall. The kitchenware store will split Williams Sonoma‘s former space with Warby Parker. The mall lists its expected opening date as October 31.

Unfortunately, a new vacancy will be opening up soon at the Town Center as well. Z Gallerie will close its location within the mall as part of its bankruptcy proceedings. The store opened in May 2018.

NOTED PROJECTS

  • Fast food restaurant Culver’s submitted plans for a new location within the planned The Fountains at St. Johns development along CR210 in St. Johns County.
