DERBY ON PARK TO RETURN IN APRIL AS DINER

The Derby on Park building will not be vacant for long.

The restaurant is set to re-open in April as Derby House Diner, a new diner concept from the owners of The Bearded Pig and Rec Room.

Derby on Park shut its doors at the end of 2018, shortly after being taken over by the owners of nearby eatery The Bread & Board. That ownership group will not be involved in the new restaurant.

ACOSTA BRIDGE GETTING NEW LED LIGHTS

Work is expected to begin later this year on installing new LED lights along the Acosta Bridge. The color of these new lights will be adjustable to accommodate various events.

The bridge previously featured neon lights, but they broke down a few years ago.

Miller Electric will handle the installation of the new lights.
