Potential Riverwalk expansion

The apartment complex project we noted previously along the river on Bishop Gate Lane in Riverside now may include an extension of the Riverwalk.

TriBridge Residential, the project’s developers, are proposing to develop and maintain a new stretch of the Northbank Riverwalk going from Riverside Arts Market to Memorial Park as part of the development.

The complex itself would feature 125 units located within short walking distance of RAM and Five Points.

More from Amazon

A permit that was submitted this week essentially confirmed that Amazon is set to build out a sorting center at 4948 Bulls Bay Center to complement its fulfillment center going in at 12900 Pecan Park Rd.

And speaking of that fulfillment center: a permit for over $16 million of structural work was issued for it this week.

Noted projects

A permit was issued for the build-out of Mortons Steakhouse in the downtown Hyatt Regency.

Gate is wasting no time on rebuilding its flagship location at the corner of San Jose Blvd. and Sunbeam Rd. The old building was torn down last week, and they’ve already secured a permit to pour the foundation for their new building.

Industry West, a furniture company that caters to Silicon Valley companies, will take over the former Stellers Gallery space in San Marco Square, according to Jax Daily Record.

According to multiple sources, Winn Dixie plans to close its location at 7534 Beach Blvd.
