Building Up Jax: Chipotle joining Boulevard Crossing; Panera to Parkway Village

Building Up Jax is a weekly article series, posted each Saturday morning, that provides you with the latest updates on development and construction in the greater Jacksonville area.

Chipotle to join Boulevard Crossing

The Boulevard Crossing development at Beach and University Blvds. has added Chipotle as a future tenant.

The fast-food chain submitted plans for a new location within Parcel A at Boulevard Crossing. It joins McDonald’s, Starbucks, and AT&T within the development, which consists primarily of outparcels located in front of a former Kmart building. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is also expected to join the project. The Kmart is expected to be redeveloped separately.

Panera joining Parkway Village at St. Johns

Panera has submitted plans for a new restaurant building – with outdoor seating – within Parkway Village at St. Johns.

The new Panera building is shown as an outparcel near Heartland Dental and Whataburger. The development, located near World Golf Village, is set to be anchored by GreenWise Market and will also feature 7-Eleven, Baptist Primary Care, Chase Bank, Gate Express Car Wash, Heartland Dental, Starbucks, and Whataburger.
