Burn Boot Camp St. Johns Coming to Shoppes of Aberdeen

Burn Boot Camp St. Johns is coming to Shoppes of Aberdeen.

The fast-growing, Charlotte, NC-based gym chain will join Ash Properties’ 47,000-square-foot office and retail center, located at Longleaf Pine Parkway and Shetland Drive. It will be the fourth Burn Boot Camp gym in the Jacksonville area, joining locations in Fleming Island, Nocatee, and Mandarin.

The new St. Johns location will be owned and operated by Chandler, Ernie, and Denise Hunt, a family that recently relocated to St. Johns from Charlotte. It will be the second confirmed tenant at Shoppes of Aberdeen, joining an urgent care facility. The center is just down the street from the Publix-anchored Shoppes at RiverTown.

Founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife team Devan and Morgan Kline, Burn Boot Camp is a women-centric gym that seeks to “build confidence, happiness, and disciplines that transcend fitness into communities of mentally, emotionally, and physically strong women.” The couple began franchising the concept in 2015, and it has since expanded to 38 states with over 400 locations.

The Hunt family’s St. Johns gym will host several pop-up camps in the weeks leading up to its expected launch in December 2021, where attendees will be able to meet the owner and head trainer while learning about what kind of workouts are offered at the gym.
