Building Up Jax: Lululemon opening holiday shop in San Marco Square

Building Up Jax is a weekly article series, posted each Saturday morning, that provides you with the latest updates on development and construction in the greater Jacksonville area.

LULULEMON TO OPEN SEASONAL STORE IN SAN MARCO

Lululemon is coming to San Marco Square – at least for the holiday season.

The national athletic apparel retailer received a permit for build-out at 2006 San Marco Blvd. Its unit was previously used by San Marco Promenade as rental offices.

The brand’s website lists the store as “seasonal,” meaning it will likely only be open through the holiday season. The brand operates a similar seasonal store within Nocatee Town Center. Its sole permanent location in Jax is located at St. Johns Town Center.

DAVID WEEKLEY TO BUILD ETOWN TOWNHOMES

David Weekley Homes has announced plans for a 286-unit townhome development within eTown’s Kettering neighborhood. The development will feature a resort-style pool, a lap pool, fitness center, rooftop patio, playground, and event lawn.

Construction will begin late next year, with sales beginning in 2022.
