Nocatee residents are getting a Lululemon store – at least for a little bit.
The athleisure brand plans to open a temporary pop-up location within the former Artsy Abode unit at Nocatee Town Center. The store will open this summer, but it’s unclear how long it will stick around; the company sometimes uses pop-up stores as a way of testing new markets.
Lululemon has one existing Jax-area store, located at St. Johns Town Center.
Island Wing Company submitted plans for a 7,300 sq. ft. restaurant at Bartram Park Blvd. and Race Track Rd. as part of the Bartram Market development in northern St. Johns County.
It will join Publix, Aspen Dental, China Wok, Dep Nails & Spa, Dunkin’ Donuts, Fancy Sushi Sushi & Grill, Forever Vets Animal Hospital, Pediatric Associates, The UPS Store, Wawa, and Wendy’s among Bartram Market’s confirmed tenants.
This will be Island Wing Company’s second Jax-area location; it opened its first last month at 4409 Southside Blvd.
City council voted this week to approve the rezoning of portions of South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church’s property in San Marco for redevelopment as Park Place at San Marco, a four-story apartment complex and two-story parking garage.
The approval was granted despite its controversial “weighted average” provision allowing a taller apartment building than what’s allowed in the zoning overlay; neighborhood group Right Size San Marco spoke in opposition.
