Here’s Where You Can Find an Impossible Burger in Jacksonville

Meat-free, plant-based burgers are one of the hottest trends in food right now.

And at the forefront of that trend is Impossible Foods, the company behind the popular Impossible Burger.

The Impossible Burger is touted for its ability to closely mimic both the taste and texture of actual meat despite being plant-based. The burger appeals to everyone from vegetarians and vegans who normally miss out on the burger experience, to those with dietary restraints that rule out red meat entirely.

The rollout of the Impossible Burger has been relatively slow and limited to restaurants in larger markets, but cities like Jacksonville are now finally starting to gain access to the patties – mostly through chain restaurants at this point.

Hopefully, as the company’s supply chain improves, more locally-based restaurants will be able to consistently offer the Impossible Burger or alternatives such as the similarly-tasty Beyond Burger.

For now, here is a list of restaurants at which you can grab an Impossible Burger (while supplies last) here in the Jacksonville area.

BURGER KING

All (or at least most) of Jacksonville’s many Burger King locations are now serving the Impossible Whopper, an Impossible Burger patty flame-grilled and topped with tomato, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, and onions on a sesame seed bun.

COOP 303

Atlantic Beach eatery Coop 303 offers an Impossible Burger served with little gem lettuce, tomato, and vegan ranch on a vegan brioche bun.

DAVE & BUSTER’S

Dave & Buster’s is another national chain that offers the Impossible Burger, but only as supplies last.

GERMAN SCHNITZEL HAUS

German Schnitzel Haus offers its take on an Impossible Burger plate among its many vegetarian- and vegan-friendly menu options.

HURRICANE GRILL & WINGS

Hurricane Grill & Wings offers a fully-customizable Impossible Burger plate at all of its area locations, with topping options including lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo, mushrooms, and peppers, as well as premium add-ons like cheese and bacon.

KICKBACKS GASTROPUB

With how gigantic the menu is at Kickbacks Gastropub, it probably shouldn’t come as a surprise that the eatery offers the Impossible Burger. Theirs comes with lettuce, tomato, red onions, and red bell pepper ketchup.

TOPGOLF

Topgolf at the Town Center lets you switch out a regular patty for an Impossible Burger on any of its burgers for just a $2 upcharge.

Honorable mentions:

  • Whiskey Jax has occasionally offered Impossible Burgers during “vegan night” events.
  • Red Robin offers Impossible Burgers “as supplies last” – as of right now, it isn’t listed on their official menu.
  • Wicked Barley Brewing Company normally offers Impossible Burgers but has taken them off the menu due to a supply shortage.
