Just a few weeks after announcing the future San Marco Promenade development, the same developer now seeks to purchase property just north of that development for an additional project called San Marco Crossing, according to Jax Daily Record.
The land in question is currently owned by Southside Assembly of God. The development would likely bring over 300 additional apartment units along with lifestyle amenities such as a small park and open-air rec space. It would have high visibility from the new Overland Bridge.
The combination of these two new future developments, along with the reconfiguration of the I-95 and Philips interchange, should help integrate the Philips/Kings/Atlantic area with the rest of San Marco.
