Downtown Vision to Host 7th Annual “Trick or Treat on the Street”

An annual Halloween favorite returns to downtown Jacksonville as Downtown Vision, Inc., prepares to host its seventh annual “Trick or Treat on the Street” event.

This year, 31 local businesses will be handing out sweet treats to downtown employees, local families and children, and other community members – an increase from 26 participants last year. All ages are welcome, and costumes are “highly encouraged.”

For those 21 and older, Super Food and Brew will be offering a buy-one, get-one special on beer during the event – as long as you show up wearing a costume.

The trick-or-treating event takes place on October 31 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It coincides with Hemming Park’s Halloween in Hemming event, which will feature live music from DJ Jimmie Hustle, food trucks, and a costume contest.
