Popular Atlantic Beach eatery Culhane’s Irish Pub and Restaurant is set to add a second location by the end of this year when it opens at 9720 Deer Lake Ct. near Tinseltown.
The restaurant closed on the space on August 2, purchasing the 8,487 square foot building from RibKib LLC. Colliers International Northeast Florida facilitated the sale, with Jason Ryals and Katherine Goodwin representing the seller.
Culhane’s Irish Pub and Restaurant opened in 2005 at 967 Atlantic Blvd., serving authentic Irish fare and celebrating Irish culture with live music and dancing events. In addition to being a local favorite, Culhane’s was featured in an episode of Food Network personality Guy Fieri’s show, Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives.
The building at 9720 Deer Lake Ct. was constructed in 1999. It was originally home to South Street Tavern & Grill, and has also housed Dick’s Wings and, most recently, Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery.
Renovations to the building are already in the beginning stages, with a goal of the new Culhane’s location opening by the end of 2018.
