This week, there was an onslaught of local restaurants announcing plans for second (or even third) Jacksonville-area locations.
Mayport-based Safe Harbor Seafood has added a new location in Five Points – sort of. The popular seafood restaurant is taking over the kitchen at Marah Brewing Company at 1521 Margaret St. The two brands will exist symbiotically within the space.
Five Points eatery The Bread & Board will be opening a second location at 4413 Town Center Pkwy. near Publix, just north of St. Johns Town Center, according to Jacksonville Business Journal.
Florida Cracker Kitchen plans to open a second Jax location within an existing building at 1842 Kings Ave. in San Marco. The eatery isn’t based in Jax, but the new San Marco location would make Jax the only city with two locations.
And last but not least, Southern Grounds Coffee is planning to open a third area location within the Shoppes of Avondale.
Sprouts Farmers Market is now open at The Markets at Town Center, the shopping plaza just south of St. Johns Town Center.
This is the first Jacksonville location for the Phoenix, AZ-based grocer, which focuses on providing healthy, organic grocery products. Another location is planned near the Tamaya master-planned development along Beach Blvd.
