Building Up Jax: Jaguar Power Sports moving to Southside

JAGUAR POWER SPORTS MOVING TO SOUTHSIDE

Jaguar Power Sports is coming to the Southside.

The motorcycle, ATV, and recreational vehicle dealer has signed a lease to relocate its operations from 4680 Blanding Blvd. to 7720 Philips Hwy. At 42,952 sq. ft., the new location gives Jaguar Power Sports more than four times the amount of space it had at its previous facility.

Jaguar Power Sports will use the space for sales, storage, and service, and it also plans to create an outdoor showroom as well.

The lease was facilitated by Eric Bumgarner, CCIM, Joseph M. Turri, and Michael Cassidy of Colliers International’s Jacksonville office. The Colliers team will serve as the listing agent for the Blanding Blvd. property, which will become available in August. It also represents the owner of 7720 Philips Hwy., which still has just under 53,000 sq. ft. of available space.

SORRENTO ITALIAN RESTAURANT HAS NEW OWNER

Sorrento Italian Restaurant is now under new ownership.

The eatery’s 3,600 sq. ft. building at 6943 St. Augustine Rd. was sold by its founder, Luciano Russo, to Jonathan Eddy for $550,000, with the sale closing on March 23. Gary Montour of Colliers International represented Russo for the sale.

Sorrento opened in 1986 and has operated in the same location since. Eddy plans to continue the restaurant’s operations with executive chef Nedal Mardini.
