Building Up Jax: Details on GATE at Durbin Park, North Point Town Center phase two

GATE C-STORE, CARWASH PLANS FOR DURBIN PARK

Plans were submitted this week for a GATE convenience store, gas station, and express car wash at Durbin Park.

The plans show a 6,536 square foot convenience store, 24 fueling stations, and a 4,249 square foot carwash building along West Peyton Parkway.

GATE is just one part of the first phase of the mall, Pavilion at Durbin Park.

NORTH POINT TOWN CENTER SET FOR PHASE TWO

Plans for phase two of North Point Town Center at Moncrief Rd. and Myrtle Ave. show an additional 23,800 square feet of retail space.

16,783 sq. ft. of that is designated for a yet-to-be-named grocery store, with 7,017 sq. ft. of other retail space remaining. It would also add two new crosswalks to Moncrief Rd., and a JTA bus station in front of the center’s parking lot.

TOWN CENTER PROMENADE APARTMENTS GET A NAME

The apartment complex being built at Town Center Promenade now has a name: The Jaxon.

According to Jax Daily Record, the complex is expected to offer 287 units, with a mix of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments.
