Following several weeks of exciting development news, this week was a slow one for new project announcements in Jacksonville.
Here’s what’s new from this week in Jacksonville development news.
The vacant building at 227 Park St. in Brooklyn is in the process of being demolished. The property was purchased last year by Block Five LLC.
It sits next door to The Brooklyn at Riverside, and just behind 220 Riverside and Unity Plaza.
No word yet on what’s planned for the property.
Meanwhile, the old St. Johns Village center’s demolition in Avondale has also begun.
The Walmart location at 6767 103rd St. will be remodeled at a cost of $689,397.
The KFC location at 8033 Normandy Blvd. will be remodeled at a cost of $64,314.
Publix at the St. Johns Town Center will also be remodeled at a cost of $750,000.
