Wildlight, the master-planned “Lowcountry” community in Nassau County, is set to add to its retail and restaurant offerings next year.
The community recently announced four new tenants – Anejo Cocina Mexicana, Firehouse Subs, Hana Sushi & Asian Restaurant, and DEP Nail Salon – set to occupy 11,670 square feet of retail and restaurant space completed by Skinner Bros. Realty within its Village Center this month.
“The pandemic has maximized Wildlight’s need for more convenient access to service retail,” said Chet Skinner, vice president of Skinner Bros. Realty. “As Nassau County continues to grow at an impressive rate, especially in the area near Interstate 95, there is increased demand for services that retain homebuyers. Our newest retail complex strengthens the appeal of the Wildlight market by providing access to additional amenities and everyday services that area locals desire close to home.”
Anejo Cocina Mexicana, a Mexican concept, will be making its first entry into Nassau County with its Wildlight location. The eatery’s original location is in Ponte Vedra; its second location at Unity Plaza in Brooklyn will open later this year.
Firehouse Subs, of course, has numerous Northeast Florida locations having been founded in Jacksonville. It has one other Nassau County location in Fernandina Beach. Fast-casual concept Hana Sushi also has one other location in Fernandina Beach.
Luxury salon and spa DEP Nail Salon, also Jax-based, rounds out the four-tenant lineup within the building at 40 Homegrown Way.
The four new tenants will join Tasty’s Fresh Burgers and Fries, Cold Stone Creamery, Royal Amelia Dance Academy, and Great Clips within the first phase of Village Center, which opened last year.
Tenant build-out will begin this fall, and all four are expected to open by winter 2021.
