TERMS SET FOR FIS GARAGE IN BROOKLYN

An ordinance was introduced at this week’s city council meeting that would approve and authorize the execution of an agreement between the city and Fidelity National information Services, Inc., for the development of a 1,380-spot parking garage at the former site of Fire Station No. 5 as part of FIS’s planned headquarters building.

The ordinance specifies that 130 public parking spots will be available to the public after 6:00 PM on weeknights and 24-hour access on weekends and holidays.

Construction on the garage must begin by June 2021, or the property will revert back to city ownership.
