Building Up Jax is a weekly article series, posted each Saturday morning, that provides you with the latest updates on development and construction in the greater Jacksonville area.
We now know who will join Publix within the long-awaited East San Marco commercial project.
Regency Centers shared a list of signed tenants this past week, with all but one of the available units having been leased. Publix and Publix Liquors will be joined by OrangeTheory Fitness, Crumbl Cookies, St. Johns Eye Associates, Foxtail Coffee Co., and Gemma Fish & Oyster.
The latter tenant, Gemma, is a new seafood concept from the husband-and-wife team behind Ember & Iron in St. Johns; it will feature rooftop seating in addition to the ground-floor restaurant space.
Tenants are set to begin opening as early as this fall. Gemma is expected to follow shortly afterwards in spring 2023.
